I’m a graphic designer living in Orange County, California. I’m the founder and principal of Faded Pictures Designs, a co-founder of Honu Studios LLC, and co-founder and editor of MoreThanNoise, a music blog.

I particularly enjoy the canvas of the Internet to be able to play, create, and work. I consider myself primarily a “front-end designer” with a good set of skills as a “back-end engineer”. There’s just a certain marriage of art and design that mixes with the exactitude of code and language to strike a chord within me and make me really passionate about what I do.

This site is hand-coded with the latest flavor of HTML and CSS in BBEdit and CSSEdit (now Espresso). It is powered by WordPress 3. under the hood the site utilizes the jQuery JavaScript library, the 960 grid CSS framework, Modernizr an open-source JavaScript library that helps with building the next generation of HTML5 and CSS3-powered websites, and HTML5 Boilerplate.

Typographically speaking, Myriad Pro is used for text and League Gothic for the logo. Both fonts and their variations are served up by TypeKit. Finally, the headlines are in MISO.
